Amid speculations, presidency reveals president Tinubu’s whereabout, return date

The Presidency on Tuesday revealed when Nigeria’s president, Bola Tinubu would return to the country from his trip to Europe.

According to the presidency, president Tinubu will return to Nigeria on Wednesday  (Today) from his trip abroad.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Information and strategy to the president, made this known in a statement via his X handle on Tuesday.

His tweet reads“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,” Onanuga stated.

It would be recalled that Tinubu left Abuja on April 22 for the Kingdom of The Netherlands on an official visit.

Presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale said the President was visiting The Netherlands on the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Tinubu proceeded to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting between April 28 and 29, after the engagements in The Netherlands.

The President was expected back in the country after the forum in Saudi Arabia.

However, the president’s failure to return to the country as earlier reported has fulled too many speculations with many wondering his whereabouts.
