WATCH THE VIDEO HERE THE Anambra State Police Command has arrested Anthony Kosisochukwu Okafor in connection with the death of his elder brother, 45-year-old Emmanuel Okafor. According to a statement released today the Command’s spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga, officers from the Abagana Divisional Headquarters, in collaboration with state vigilante operatives, apprehended the 37-year-old suspect from Adegbe Village, Abagana, in Njikoka Local Government Area. The statement revealed that Kosisochukwu admitted to engaging in a physical altercation with his brother following a heated argument over household food supplies. During the confrontation, he allegedly struck Emmanuel with a stick, piercing his chest. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed his death. Describing the incident as deeply troubling, the police emphasized the need for healthy conflict resolution within families to prevent tragic outcomes. The case has been transferred to the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department in Awka, and the suspect will face charges upon the conclusion of the investigation.
