Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has spoken against domestic violence following her junior colleague, Regina Daniels’ marital drama.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that Regina had cried out over the alleged domestic violence she was experiencing in her marriage. In a viral video, the actress was seen in the midst of men as her brother defended her against thugs her husband allegedly sent to her.
Reacting to it, Angela expressed joy as she questioned whether she was the one beaten in a Ferrari and a Private jet that she had been tagged in the video.
Now taking to her Instagram page, she said that getting to know what lots of women go through is never justified. She clamoured that no man has the right to raise his hands on a woman, not in anger, not in love and not in marriage.
Angela told any woman going through such to speak up, as silence protects their abuser, not them. She noted how marriage isn’t a prison, as love is not meant to hurt.
The movie star called on every woman, every voice, and every platform to speak louder against it. She urged that we protect our sisters, mothers, and anyone going through abuse at the hands of their partners.

Recall that in June, Angela and Regina had clashed over Mercy Johnson. In an Instagram live session, Angela, said she had forgiven the mother of four because she learnt she was seriously sick, and told her to seek forgiveness.
Debunking her claims, Regina via called her mad as she admonished Mercy not to forgive. The wife of Ned Nwoko added that she and Johnson don’t forgive.
Last year, Angela revealed that she had unfollowed Mercy Johnson’s goddaughter, Regina Daniels and others as frustration wanted to kill them. She claimed that they sent her several arrows, but it didn’t work as she promised they would soon cry blood. She boldly told Mercy that physically and spiritually, she can’t be silenced.
