Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay Idibia and her legendary singer husband, 2baba, have finally unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The couple, whose marriage of over a decade hit a rough patch earlier this year, seems to be cutting ties with each other privately and publicly.
Kemi Filani noticed that Annie no longer follows her husband on the photo-sharing platform, as does the famous singer. Kemi Filani also noticed that 2baba has unfollowed several of his celebrity friends.
His Instagram page shows he only follows 33 people, including his new wife Natasha, and a few of his colleagues, like comedian Ayo Makun, Don Jazzy, Kemi Adetiba, and Nasboi.
A day back, Annie threw shots at him, indirectly calling him a deadbeat father. She made a list of the great dads on her Instagram story, tagging Peter Okoye, Cole Peter and Andilen Cube and excluded him.
Last month, Annie had shared a post about moving on. She stated that she just archives and moves on.
At the Headies awards, Annie made headlines when she took a swipe at her ex-husband with her introduction. While presenting on stage, the mother of two reintroduced herself to the public, taking a swipe at her ex. She made it known that she was no longer Annie Idibia but Annie Macaulay and announced to the world that she is single.
Refreshing your memory, in January, her legendary singer husband, 2baba, had announced his separation from her. He has since moved on from Annie and is now married to Edo lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru.
Kemi Filani reported on July 25th that the music icon had traditionally wedded his partner, Natasha, in a low-key ceremony attended by close family members, including the singer’s parents.
In one of the clips from the ceremony, 2baba and Natasha were captured receiving parental blessings. A man identified as Okagbe noted how the singer has been in several marriages and prayed that his marriage to Natasha would be the last.
