Anthony Anderson is officially off the market.
The Black-ish star confirmed he is in a new relationship while attending the premiere of Netflix’s Star Search revival, choosing to keep his partner’s identity private. “I’m no longer a bachelor,” Anderson told PEOPLE with a smile.
He added that his new girlfriend was right by his side for the big night. “My lady was at the show last night. She enjoyed it and we enjoyed it together.”
The revelation comes just days after Anderson appeared at the Golden Globes with television host Rocsi Diaz, sparking speculation that the two might be romantically involved. When asked about the outing, Anderson previously described Diaz as a longtime friend, noting they have known each other for two decades.
He also confirmed the relationship during a recent appearance on The View.
Fans later spotted the pair attending additional events together, including a charity fundraiser in Los Angeles.
Anderson’s confirmation marks his first public romance since finalizing his divorce from Alvina Stewart in 2023. The former couple met as students at Howard University and were married for more than 20 years. They share two adult children, Kyra and Nathan.
