Anthony Anderson and Rocsi Diaz have the entire internet talking after stepping out together during Golden Globes weekend, sending fans into detective mode once again.
According to TMZ, the pair were seen leaving Netflix’s Golden Globes after-party in Beverly Hills, strolling side by side outside Wolfgang Puck’s Spago.
Anderson looked polished in a black tuxedo and bow tie, while Diaz stood out in a flowing floral gown. They were captured holding hands. When asked about the nature of their night out, Anderson kept things measured, calling Diaz “my date for the evening.”
Rumors about a possible romance have followed them since late 2025, when they were spotted together on several occasions. Anderson, now 55, has told reporters that their bond goes back years.
“We go back almost 20 years,” he said, pointing to their early interactions during Diaz’s time on BET’s 106 & Park.
At the time, Anderson was married to Alvina Stewart, his college sweetheart from Howard University. Their marriage ended in late 2023 after years of separation. With that chapter closed, the timing of these appearances has drawn attention, even as Anderson insists, “Friends are always friends.”
Diaz, 41, has long guarded her private life and previously said she only shares relationship details if they lead toward engagement or marriage.
