Dignitaries have commended Chief (Dr) Peter Ogundeji popularly known as Apata for his various community support initiatives aimed at improving the lives of youths, women, and residents across Osun State.

The commendations were given on Sunday during the grand finale of the week-long programme held to celebrate his 40th birthday, which attracted political leaders, party supporters, and community stakeholders.

Speaking with newsmen, Chief Ogundeji acknowledged the contributions of leaders, family members, friends, media, and colleagues who played roles in ensuring the success of the events.

He explained that the free healthcare outreach and empowerment programme rolled out during the events were introduced as acts of giving back to society.

He said the initiatives were driven by his belief that individuals should support their communities with the resources and opportunities available to them.

Ogundeji encouraged members of the public to engage in community support, stressing that collective contributions help societies grow and progress.

In his remarks, the APC apex leader in Ejigbo, Ede, and Egbedore Federal Constituency, Alhaji Gbadebo Ajao, described Ogundeji as a generous individual whose philanthropic acts have continued even before joining active politics.

He expressed confidence that Ogundeji’s goals would be achieved and urged him to maintain focus as he progresses in public service.

Ajao advised youths to be more serious and disciplined as they take on responsibilities within the political and social space.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the APC in Osun West Senatorial District, Hon. Oluremi Akintola Omolaoye, noted that political evaluation is a continuous process influenced by consistent actions and performance.

He said Ogundeji’s activities have positioned him positively as stakeholders observe his contributions to community development.

Akintola advised young political aspirants to remain steadfast, focused, and determined as they build their careers in public service.
