APC Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced new dates for its upcoming National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings, shifting the sessions from December 15–16 to December 18–19, 2025.

The adjustment was disclosed in an official notice titled “Change of Meeting Dates”, issued by the party’s National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Basiru, and shared on his X handle on Sunday.

According to the notice, the National Caucus meeting will now hold on Thursday, December 18, at 6:00 p.m., while the NEC meeting will take place on Friday, December 19, at 3:00 p.m. Both meetings are scheduled for the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The notice did not provide reasons for the adjustment but concluded with a directive that all members “TAKE NOTICE” of the new dates in accordance with Article 11.5 of the APC Constitution.

The National Caucus includes top-ranking figures such as the President and Vice President, past and present APC-affiliated presidents and vice presidents, serving and former governors, and zonal representatives.

The NEC, regarded as the party’s highest decision-making body, consists of the National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen (North and South), National Secretary, National Treasurer, National Legal Adviser, National Publicity Secretary, National Women and Youth Leaders, State Chairmen, zonal representatives, and other members elected by the National Convention.
