APC distances self from purported endorsement of Sen Moro, vows to end his third term bid

Abba Moro

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, has distanced itself from the endorsement of Senate Minority, Abba Moro for third term by the Itodo Boniface group of the party .

The party said Senator Moro lacked political legacy and relevance, and strongly wowed to end his third term bid as he already lacks the constituency development legacy, charisma and quality representation in the Senate.

In a statement signed by the Acting Chairman of the party, Akor Simon, the party said “Senator Abba Moro has No Legacy Project to show for over six(6) years as his achievement, which APC is capable of ending his reign of underdevelopment as a failed Senator, and eagerly waiting to change the narrative in 2027 for APC.”

Akor further stated unequivocally that the purported APC group headed by Itodo Boniface who allegedly endorsed Senator Moro as reported by the lawmaker’s Media Aide, Eche’Ofun at his Otukpo residence lacked the credibility and substance to issue such unwarranted statement.

The LG party chairman used the opportunity to dismiss the unwarranted endorsement done by the desperate politicians, and called on all leaders, stakeholders, members and supporters of the APC to remain calm, committed and resolute to deliver all elective seats for the party.
