APC Makes Fresh Appointment Ahead Of August 16 Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Abdulrahman Bashir Haske as Chairman of the Youth Advisory Committee for the forthcoming Ganye, Adamawa State Assembly Constituency by-election scheduled for August 16, 2025.

Naijaonpoint reports that the appointment, signed by the APC National Vice Chairman, North-East, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, positions Haske to work closely with the National Campaign Council Sub-Committee in delivering the party’s mandate at the polls.

Members of the Sub-Committee include Hon. Nuruddeen Hamanyero, Barr. Dedan Pwadi Hoki, Dr. Tahir Abubakar Girei, Musa Terrang (PhD), Lamido Hamza Abdullah, and Salihu Mohammed Harbingiwa. Others are Huzaifa Sanusi, Idris Zubairu Numan, Sa’adu Adamu Namtari, Hon. Khalil Sajo, Dauda Kushu, Isah Garba Mayo, Lukman D. Wise, Shehu Baba-Jacob, and Hon. Yakubu Bello Bashir.

Following his appointment, Haske paid a courtesy visit to the National Security Adviser (NSA) and APC leader in Adamawa State, Nuhu Ribadu. Discussions during the meeting covered preparations for the by-election, party matters, and strategies to strengthen political ties and grassroots support.

He commended Ribadu’s leadership style, noting his inclusivity and achievements in both party and national assignments.

In its statement, the APC reaffirmed its commitment to a peaceful, transparent, and successful by-election.

The party called on members, supporters, and the general public to rally behind Haske and the Youth Advisory Committee to ensure the party’s victory in the August 16 contest.

It stressed that the Youth Advisory Committee would play a strategic role in mobilising grassroots support and driving youth participation in the electoral process.
