APC: Niger South endorses Bago for second term

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress APC in the Niger South Senatorial District have unanimously endorsed farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago for the second term in office.

The endorsement was made in Bida, when the farmer governor held a special interactive session with each of the federal constituencies in the Senatorial District.

Various speakers comprising Federal and State legislators, Zonal and local government Party officials, among other Party stalwarts who spoke on behalf of their respective Federal Constituencies in the Niger South acknowledged that the achievements recorded by the farmer governor so far are unmatched; hence, he deserves a second term in office.

They stressed that giving him another 4 years would help him consolidate on the remarkable projects he has embarked on and the realisation of the New Niger to the benefit of all citizens of the state.

In his remarks, farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago appreciated the APC Stakeholders of Niger South Senatorial District for the endorsement, saying it is an honour.

He emphasised his administration’s firm commitment to delivering more dividends of democracy to the people, especially through the Ward Development Project, an initiative that would ensure grassroots development.

The farmer governor called on all the Niger South APC members to unite and work assiduously to ensure the party’s victory in the forthcoming local government elections.

The Federal Constituencies that form the Niger South Senatorial District are Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency, Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency, and Lavun/Mokwa/Edati/Federal Constituency.
