A staunch member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Jesutega Onokpasa, has reportedly breathed his last on Monday.
Details surrounding his demise are still sketchy, but he appeared pale when he was a guest of a television programme some weeks ago.
The late legal practitioner from Delta State was a member of the APC Publicity Committee and the APC presidential campaign council in 2023.
One of his notable moments on television was when he clashed with one of the anchors of Arise Television, Mr Rufai Oseni, over the policies of President Bola Tinubu, threatening to walk out of the live interview.
At his last publicised TV appearance, he was critical of the same policies of Mr Tinubu, lamenting that they were making life difficult for Nigerians.
The late political commentator, before his death, threatened to withdraw his support for the current administration in 2027, when President Tinubu is likely to seek a second term in office for another four years.
