Apple iPhone SE 4 could arrive in 'Plus' variant too

The iPhone SE 4 has been rumored for a long time, and it finally seems to be coming in Q1 next year. A new rumor has just surfaced, though, claiming that we may get the iPhone SE 4 Plus model too, in addition to the regular one.

This information is based on the information received by a Japanese blog, Macotakara. It is claimed that the info is coming from sources inside the Chinese eCommerce platform Alibaba. Some dummies appeared too, as you can see below.

The iPhone SE 4 is said to use the iPhone 14 design as a template, with one obvious difference, the rear camera setup. The iPhone SE 4 will have a single camera on the back, not two of them.

The Apple iPhone SE 4 is expected to feature a 6.1-inch panel, just like the iPhone 14. Does that mean that the ‘Plus’ model will have a 6.7-inch panel like the iPhone 14 Plus? Well, yes, most probably, if it ever becomes a thing.

Majin Bu says that this is not set in stone just yet. There is still a high possibility that only one model will launch. He also mentioned that “the final design and dimensions have not yet been decided”.

It’s expected to have the same dimensions as the iPhone 14

Still, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to have the exact same dimensions as the iPhone 14. In other words, it is expected to measure 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.8mm. The location of the TrueDepth front camera is also expected to be the same. Yes, it will have a notch, unfortunately.

Even the bezels around the display will be the same, they’ll be 2mm thick. That’s not thick at all, but it’s thicker than what modern flagships are offering, that’s for sure. The arrangement of the microphone and stereo speakers is allegedly also the same as on the iPhone 14. USB Type-C will be included. This phone will also be the first to include Apple’s own 5G modem.
