“Are you throwing shade at your wife?” – BBNaija Leo Dasilva stirs reactions as he kicks against marrying someone who lacks sense

Big Brother Naija reality star Leo Dasilva has raised eyebrows as he advocates for marrying a sensible partner.

The married reality star, via his Twitter page, admonished the public to marry someone who has sense. He said that if they can’t find such, it’s best to stay single and not marry.

Leo added that there is nothing worse than marrying an idiot.

“Marry someone who actually has sense.
If you don’t find it, it is best not to marry.
There’s nothing worse than marrying an idiot. Trust me”.

His tweet left many questioning if he was referring to his wife.

Kemi Filani reported in November 2023 that Leo held his wedding introduction to his lover, Maryam Laushi, in Kaduna. Photos and videos of the colorful ceremony made rounds online and raised eyebrows with the setting and name of his wife, which is common among Muslims.

Netizens pointed out how the reality star just graduated from Theology school and yet was marrying a Muslim.

In early January, Leo had shared their pre-wedding photos and his colleagues had flooded his comment section with congratulatory messages.

In different news, Leo had slammed Christians who refer to their pastors as their daddies, Spiritual fathers, and all. He stated that it is a red flag when one describes their pastor in such a way.

In another tweet, he clarified that going to Theology school for 2 years wasn’t to become a pastor but to understand the word of God even more. He stated that if one claims to love God, one will try to learn about God yourself.
