SUPER Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala has completed a move to Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia from American club Bay FC.

The Nigeria international joins Al Hilal on a two-year deal after spending only one and a half years at Bay FC, who play in the top flight National Women’s Soccer League.

Oshoala, 30, passed her Al Hilal medical last night and the switch was completed today.

At Bay FC, whom she had joined after five trophy-laden years with Barcelona, Oshoala made 31 league appearances, scoring eight goals.

The record six-time winner of the African Women’s Player of the Year award was no longer a guaranteed starter at Bay FC towards the end of her stay in the United States of America.

“Bay FC and Saudi Arabia club Al Hilal have agreed to terms on a transfer for Asisat Oshoala,” the American side stated.

“Thank you for everything you’ve given to this club.”

Oshoala was a member of the Super Falcons squad that won their record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco in July.

Her Super Falcons teammates Ashleigh Plumptre and Francesca Ordega also play in Saudi Arabia’s women’s top flight.
