WATCH THE VIDEO HERE For a while now, the gaming phone segment has been losing participants. Brands like Lenovo and Black Shark have stopped releasing new mobile devices focused solely on gaming aesthetics and performance. However, ASUS is holding firm with its ROG lineup, releasing new generations every year. ASUS’s next big release, the ROG Phone 9 Pro, shows off its design in official-looking images. The renders, courtesy of Roland Quandt, show off all the design details of the device, leaving no secrets. It seems that ASUS will bet on a continuous line in terms of the look of its next gaming flagship phone. According to spec leaks, a 6.78-inch PMOLED display will dominate the front of the device. There’s a dark wallpaper, so it’s difficult to tell if the company has reduced the bezels around the panel. Its predecessor, the ROG Phone 8 Pro, already had small and symmetrical bezels. A hole-punch cutout for the front camera sensor is also present. The rear of the device looks very similar to last year’s model, but the company has tweaked a few details to refine it. The rear LEDs are still present, being able to display different shapes and figures with cool animations and transitions. The official-looking images of the ROG Phone 9 Pro show how the rear part looks both with the LEDs off and on (showing the logo of the company’s gaming division). The camera module is quite similar to last year’s model. However, it now has a subtle red line in the bottom left corner. A diagonal line in the center of the rear area is still there, but it no longer reaches the right edge. The ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro had up to three legends distributed on the right edge of the rear part. The new generation model opts for a little more minimalism by reducing them to two. Overall, the design of the ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro seems to strike a balance between gaming aesthetics and understated looks. The company continues to avoid using overly bright or garish colors, perhaps hoping to get traditional users interested in the device as well. ASUS will launch both the ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro on November 19. The devices are said to boast impressive specs, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 185 Hz displays.ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro official-looking renders show slightly changed design
