Atalanta rejected Inter Milan’s opening bid for Ademola Lookman last week, and the Super Eagles star is unhappy about that
Super Eagles attacker Ademola Lookman has officially submitted a transfer request to Atalanta amid links to Inter Milan, Soccernet.ng reports.
Since the opening of the transfer market, Lookman has been linked with many top clubs in Europe.
However, Inter Milan took the initiative two weeks ago and agreed on personal terms with the Super Eagles star before submitting a €42.5 million bid to Atalanta.
But it was confirmed that La Dea rejected the offer some days ago, insisting on at least €50 million before they consider selling.
Following that news, Lookman unfollowed Atalanta and deleted all posts of him at the club, a move players make when they want to force their way out of a club.
As of press time, Inter Milan have not put in a second bid yet. But Lookman is taking matters into his own hands.
The Super Eagles star still has two years on his contract at Atalanta but according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, he has submitted a transfer request to the club.
