Atalanta Winger, Ademola Lookman Named In Serie A Team Of The Week

Atalanta’s winger, Ademola Lookman, has received well-deserved recognition by being named to the Serie A Team of the Week following an outstanding performance in the recent match against league leaders Napoli.

Meanwhile, former France striker Karim Benzema has advised Kylian Mbappe regarding his position at Real Madrid. Benzema cautioned Mbappe that Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, is unlikely to alter the positioning of Vinicius Junior, who currently occupies the left wing—a spot where he has been performing exceptionally well.

Mbappe, who made headlines by becoming Paris Saint-Germain’s all-time leading goalscorer while playing predominantly on the left wing, has found himself adapting to a more central role since his transfer to the Bernabeu last summer.

Recognizing the pressures that come with playing for such a prestigious club, Benzema told El Chiringuito, “Mbappe is not a ‘9,’”.

He added, “There is a lot of pressure at Real Madrid; this is not PSG.

“He shouldn’t give up. I don’t think Ancelotti is going to move Vinicius; he’s the best in the world right now in that position.”

He emphasized that Mbappe must embrace the challenge of playing as a central forward, saying, “Mbappe has to get it into his head that he has to be a ‘9’ and forget about the left. He’s been very good on the left, and now he has to be good somewhere else.”
