During their meeting, Atiku revealed that Buhari’s humour had him laughing uncontrollably. “As usual, he cracked me up (to the extent that my ribs were hurting) with his peculiar humour,” Atiku wrote in a social media post. Atiku had earlier participated in Sallah celebrations in Adamawa, where he held forth for the Lamido Fombina (Adamawa). The visit to Buhari was a post-Sallah courtesy call, which Atiku described as a “wonderful time” with the former President.
