WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar paid a courtesy visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, accompanied by former governors of Sokoto and Kaduna States, Aminu Tambuwal and Nasir El-Rufai, alongside other top politicians. During their meeting, Atiku revealed that Buhari’s humour had him laughing uncontrollably. “As usual, he cracked me up (to the extent that my ribs were hurting) with his peculiar humour,” Atiku wrote in a social media post. Atiku had earlier participated in Sallah celebrations in Adamawa, where he held forth for the Lamido Fombina (Adamawa). The visit to Buhari was a post-Sallah courtesy call, which Atiku described as a “wonderful time” with the former President. The meeting between the two former leaders has sparked interest among Nigerians, with many taking to social media to discuss the implications of the visit.
