Special Adviser to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on Communications and Strategy, Phrank Shaibu, has stated that his principal will not rest until the current administration of President Bola Tinubu is out of power.

Naijaonpoint reports that Shaibu made this known while speaking as a guest on Sunrise Daily, a programme on Channels Television on Thursday.

Shaibu said Atiku dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) because the party has lost its voice, favour, and vitality to serve as the right opposition to the current administration.

According to him, Atiku is keen about the country having good leaders.

“He is not giving up. He can’t give up until he sees a better Nigeria. Atiku will not give up until we get rid of this clueless government. He will not give up until we have good leaders for this country called Nigeria.

Leaving PDP is not about fear or about capitulation. It is about making an informed decision based on principle,” Shuaibu said.

Meanwhile, the Senior Special Assistant to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Public Communications, Lere Olayinka, has questioned the obsession of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar with becoming the President of Nigeria.

According to Olayinka, Atiku is behaving as if a Doctor had prescribed the presidency for him, and something would happen to him if he doesn’t eventually emerge as Nigeria’s leader.

He described Atiku as the bad apple in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Naijaonpoint reports Olayinka raised fresh questions about Atiku’s interest in the presidency while speaking on Thursday during an interview on Channels Television.

He alleged that Atiku’s ambition to become president led him to work against the PDP in Lagos State in 2003 as a sitting Vice President, which opened the doors for anti-party activities within the party.
