WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Atlanta police have blamed rapper Lil Baby for a triple shooting that occurred last year after Lil Baby pulled up to shoot a music video at the location. In a press conference, Major Ralph Woolfolk of the Atlanta Police Department announced that seven individuals had been arrested in connection with the murders of 13-year-old boys Jakody Davis and Lamon Freeman. The teenagers were attacked while celebrating Freeman’s 13th birthday.
“Gang violence that was orchestrated by adults. And the cowardly acts of an Atlanta-based rapper that decided to go into a rival gang stronghold in a place he knew he should not have been,” Woolfolk said. While the music video was shot in May 2024, Woolfol says that the shooting took place after, which can be linked directly back to the video shoot, including the July shootings of the teens. “This team will work relentlessly to hold you accountable,” Woolfolk said while addressing Lil Baby directly. The police department has also offered a $50,000 reward for more information.
