Getafe midfielder Christantus Uche has seen his value soar significantly, following his brilliant performances for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Soccernet.ng reports.
Uche has enjoyed a remarkable rise in the past 11 months. The 22-year-old midfielder joined Getafe from Spanish third-division club Ceuta for €500k last June, but he performed way above expectations.

Last season, Uche established himself as a mainstay in Getafe’s squad, that he was even linked to top clubs like Chelsea and West Ham.
In his 33 league appearances, he contributed four goals and six assists. He even scored the vital goal that preserved Getafe’s place in LaLiga last season. His performances also earned him a place in the Super Eagles squad at the end of the season.

Uche’s performances for Getafe ensured that his value soared on Transfermarket, a platform that uses players performances to evaluate their market values. The Nigerian midfielder’s price increased from €400k to a whooping €8 million between July 2024 to April 2025.
Following his performance for Nigeria in the two games he played － against Jamaica in the Unity Cup, and an international friendly game against Russia － Uche’s value has soared again.
The Super Eagles star is now valued at €15 million on Transfermarkt, his highest ever.

Christantus Uche could be on his way out of Getafe this summer, amid links from Atletico Madrid, Sunderland, and Everton.
He has a decent price tag, as Getafe will accept around €20 million to let him leave. However, nothing is concrete yet.
