BAUCHI: PDP relocates caucus meeting after secretariat closure

pdp

THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shifted its caucus meeting to the Bauchi State Government Lodge in Abuja following the closure of its national secretariat.

Originally scheduled for 7:00 p.m., the meeting was delayed after the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) today sealed Wadata Plaza—the building housing the PDP’s National Secretariat due to unpaid ground and tenancy rent.

The party’s caucus includes serving governors, members of the National Assembly, the Board of Trustees (BOT), as well as former presidents and vice presidents.

The BOT was also scheduled to meet earlier in the day, but the closure disrupted their plans.

While the ongoing caucus meeting is being held behind closed doors, party insiders revealed that discussions are centered on the planned National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting slated for tomorrow, May 27.

The recent closure of the secretariat is also expected to be a major point of discussion.
