According to an eyewitness, the crash was caused by poor visibility from dust on an untarred road. “One of the vehicles in the convoy veered off the road due to limited visibility and rammed into a motorcycle,” NAIJAONPOINT said. The governor, who had been in his local government for Christmas celebrations, was reportedly ahead of the convoy at the time of the incident. Official Confirmation and Clarification “The vehicle was on a separate mission when it got involved in the accident. Dust from the untarred road, combined with an oncoming vehicle, led to the crash,” Iorpev explained.
