Special Adviser to the President on New Media, Olusegun Dada, has slammed some Nigerians who called out President Bola Tinubu over his statement announcing his planned trip to Benue State.

Naijaonpoint reports that Tinubu on Monday, June 16, 2025, stated that he would adjust his schedule to enable him to visit the grieving state.

He said, “We should be able to manage our anger and frustrations. I sympathize with those who have lost their lives. I will adjust my programme and go and see Benue people on Wednesday.”

Reacting, a user described the statement as arrogant, claiming that Tinubu thinks he is doing the people of Benue State a favour.

In response, Dada argued that nothing President Tinubu does will ever sit well with his critics.

According to him, Tinubu’s movement requires extensive planning, and he cannot just jump on the road.
