Bianca Ojukwu has spoken on dumping her husband’s party, APGA for APC.

NaijaOnPoint Nigeria reports that the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu, has cleared the air about rumours that she might leave the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The statement came on Thursday during President Bola Tinubu’s one-day working visit to Anambra State.

While speaking to reporters during the event, Ojukwu explained that she remains firmly rooted in APGA.

She described herself as a strong figure within the party, holding a place on the Board of Trustees, and said she has no plans to leave for another political platform, despite serving in President Tinubu’s cabinet.

She noted that the president’s visit to Anambra shows his effort to carry every part of the country along, regardless of political groups, ethnicity, or religion.

According to her, this visit proves that Tinubu is focused on unity and national development.

Ojukwu added that APGA is in support of Tinubu’s second-term ambition in 2027.

She expressed confidence in the president’s leadership and the direction of his government.

She also spoke about Tinubu’s reaction to the projects he came to commission in Awka, the state capital.

According to her, the president was pleased with the results of Governor Charles Soludo’s work so far.

He commissioned major projects, including a large complex at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, the Solution Fun City, and the new Anambra Government House, which contains over 50 buildings.

Ojukwu said the president acknowledged the effort and vision of the governor and appreciated the progress made during his time in office.
