Christopher “C.J.” Wallace, son of the late Notorious B.I.G., is fighting back against explosive allegations by music producer Jonathan Hay, filing a defamation lawsuit that flatly denies any involvement in misconduct tied to Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Hay recently claimed in an online interview that Wallace and several others lured him to Wallace’s home, where he was allegedly sexually assaulted by Combs. He also accused Wallace of witnessing another assault and suggested Wallace had a sexual relationship with Combs, who is currently in federal prison on sex-crime convictions.

Wallace’s lawsuit calls the claims false, malicious, and damaging to his career. He argues Hay acted with “reckless disregard” for the truth and says the allegations have cost him professional opportunities while causing humiliation and emotional distress.

He is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.

According to the filing, the accusations surfaced years after Hay collaborated with Wallace and producer Willie Mack on a 2020 remix project titled “Ready to Dance.” Only one track was released. Wallace’s complaint says the remaining songs were scrapped because of creative differences, low audience interest, and what he describes as erratic behavior from Hay. During that period, the lawsuit notes, Hay emailed praise for Wallace and raised no allegations of impropriety.

In 2021, Hay accused Mack of abusive behavior but still made no claims against Wallace. The complaint says Hay later threatened to release the unreleased tracks without the Notorious B.I.G. Estate’s approval, prompting a cease-and-desist letter.

Wallace alleges the situation reignited in late 2024 when Hay began making public claims on YouTube, including that Wallace attended Combs’ alleged “freak off” gatherings and conspired to lure Hay into harm. Combs’ legal team has previously denied similar allegations.
