Celebrity auto dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, has reportedly been arrested.

Naijaonpoint reports that investigative journalist, Stella Dimoko Korkus, in a post via Instagram on Saturday, disclosed that IVD was arrested on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the airport on his way to Qatar.

Stella stated that the arrest is connected to a Domestic Violence case against IVD regarding his late wife, Bimbo, which is still in court.

According to Stella, IVD was reportedly told not to leave Nigeria until the case is over.

Stella noted that IVD’s girlfriend, Blessing CEO, has confirmed the arrest, adding that the businessman will be detained until Monday, August 4, 2025, when he will be charged in court.

She said, “BUSINESSMAN IVD ARRESTED AT THE AIRPORT ON HIS WAY TO QATAR.

“Businessman IVD (Real name Ikechukwu Ogbonna) was arrested at the airport on Friday, August 1, 2025, on his way to Qatar.
Insiders say the arrest has to do with a Domestic Violence case against him regarding his late wife, Bimbo, which is still in court….IVD is not supposed to leave Nigeria until the case is over..
