Bloodborne Official Surprise 10th Anniversary Release Available To Grab Now

bloodborne

Well, it looks like somebody out there actually remembered that 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of Bloodborne, and there’s something very special planned for fans everywhere.

Bloodborne actually originally launched for PlayStation 4 on March 24 2015. For its part, PlayStation opted to completely ignore the big day back in March of this year, because why draw attention to the fact you accidentally published one of the best games of the last century?

Bloodborne Is Getting A 10th Anniversary Release After All

And it’s available to order now

As it turns out, however, Sony has chosen to officially mark Bloodborne‘s 10th Birthday with an official release, and one that’ll have fans salivating like Vicar Amelia over a bowl of extra juicy dog food.

Artists Ryan Amon, Yuka Kitamura, Tsukasa Saitoh, Nobuyoshi Suzuki, Cris Velasco, and Michael Wandmacher have come together with Sony and Laced Records to create a really rather stunning two-volume Bloodborne vinyl soundtrack set.

Bloodborne Vol. 2, which is available separately, features nine tracks from The Old Hunters DLC. There’s also Vol. 1, which is the Laced-exclusive re-release of the Bloodborne soundtrack that was first released in 2019. It includes 21 songs from the original game.

The really juicy option, however, is the three-LP collector’s boxset featuring Bloodborne Vol. 1 and 2. It boasts a gorgeous collector’s box and slipmat, and clocks in at a surprisingly reasonable $98. I might have to indulge myself.

Bloodborne Fans Are In Love With The New Set

Because, obviously they are

Naturally, fans are wetting themselves with excitement over this new set, even if some gamers are slightly miffed we’re getting this instead of a remaster or remake. I guess the ones who are mad don’t have a decent record player.

One fan writes on Reddit: “So we did end up with something for the 10th anniversary. It’s gorgeous.”

Another adds, somewhat grumpily: “They will release every Bloodborne merch you can think of but not make a remaster/remake/60fps patch.”

“For anyone on the fence about buying this, I got the original 2019 Moonlight Great Sword edition (green vinyl) and the quality is amazing,” a third notes. “Well worth the price and be aware, they sold out in hour.” I did not need to know that. Help me.

As awesome as this new release is (and it is undeniably awesome), I certainly sympathize with the fans still waiting on something as seemingly basic as a 60fps patch for Bloodborne. Who knows, maybe the 15th anniversary in 2030 will give us what we’ve been craving.
