Just days after walking out of prison, rapper and reality star Blueface is taking accountability in a way fans haven’t seen before.
The “Thotiana” artist, who served 14 months of a four-year sentence for probation violation, opened up during a livestream with fellow rapper DDG about the 2023 Las Vegas shooting that changed the course of his life.
Appearing visibly reflective, Blueface didn’t shy away from his past. Around eight minutes into the stream, he spoke directly to the man he shot, delivering what he called a “true apology.”
“I could have just had my a– in the house,” Blueface admitted. “I didn’t have to go to the club that night, put my hands on that man, shoot him. I didn’t have to shoot that man, [I could have] been at home.”
Then, looking straight into the camera, he continued:
“I’m sorry, brother. I didn’t mean to shoot you, bro. If you seeing this, forgive me, man. This is a true apology.”
Since his release, Blueface has been spending time with his children, promoting his restaurant and making music. He has also reunited with Chrisean Rock, the mother of his two-year-old son, Chrisean Jr.
