After a brief stint behind bars, Blueface is turning his attention from music to the boxing ring once again and has announced plans to face off against former NBA player Nick Young, better known to fans as Swaggy P.

The news came during a livestream with popular creator N3on, where Blueface couldn’t hide his excitement about returning to the sport.

“Oh yeah, perfect timing,” he said with a smile. “Nick Young, Swaggy P, we already got it lined up. He getting the first issue. Y’all heard it first. We probably going to do it March, April.”

Blueface’s return to the ring has been in the works for some time. His manager Wack 100 previously said they were pushing for a February matchup and had even brought in Russian trainers to get the rapper ready to face the former Lakers star.

The two were originally scheduled to fight back in 2022 during a Social Gloves event, but the bout was called off.

Since then, Blueface has been gaining real fight experience. He notched a win over TikToker Kane Trujillo. Nick Young, who retired from the NBA in 2018 and was once engaged to Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, has publicly called out Logan Paul, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, and Gilbert Arenas in the past, though none of those potential fights ever materialized.

He has not confirmed Blueface’s claims.
