A joke on social media quickly spiraled into an awkward public clash this week after Blueface dragged King Harris into the online comparisons about his new girlfriend.
The West Coast rapper responded to chatter about his girlfriend, Nevaeh Akira, by leaning into comparisons some followers were making between her and Harris.
“King Harris you look like my b—h bro get over it,” Blueface said. “There’s nothing manly about you lil bro please don’t make it weird.”
In a livestream clip that circulated soon after, Blueface stood next to Nevaeh and joked, “Y’all keep saying my b—h looks like King Harris, right? Baby, you kind of do a little bit. Just a little bit though.” Nevaeh laughed along.
King was quick to respond. “I’m lost for words right now,” he said in a response video. “I just seen a video where Blueface said his girl looks like me. First of all, I don’t look like no female ever.”
“Why would you say your girl looks like another man? That’s weird, bro,” he continued. “I get the joke, but I would’ve never said no s–t like that.”
Harris admitted the exchange left him uncomfortable.
