Bobrisky calls out EFCC officials over alleged harassment
Popular social media personality Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has been outspoken following the recent death of an EFCC official in Anambra State.
The 33-year-old took to Instagram to share a series of revealing posts criticizing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as a whole. “I just don’t like reading anything about the EFCC online because I feel like I want to throw up each time I do. You ask the public to empathize with the loss of one of your staff, but you are among the most wicked people in Nigeria,” Bobrisky stated.
“When I was in your custody, you took me to my house and searched it. When I asked why, you claimed I was involved in money laundering and wanted to check if I was printing money at home. The police are 1 million times better than you,” she continued.
Bobrisky also revealed that the EFCC officials asked her for the mobile number of Abike Halima Raheem, also known as Papaya. “After I provided my statement, you asked me to give you Papaya’s number. I told you I don’t have her number. Even if I’m not in contact with her, I wouldn’t be heartless enough to set her up like that because I wasn’t raised to be a snitch.”
Bobrisky concluded by emphasizing her status as a law-abiding citizen. “I am a good citizen who obeys the law. If I hadn’t received your invitation letter, I would have immediately left Nigeria since I have visas for two other countries in my passport. But I decided against it. I’m a public figure, so I wanted to honor your invitation.”
