Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has stated that he may choose not to announce his marriage publicly.

Naijaonpoint reports that this follows recent confusion over a set of photos that were mistaken for a traditional marriage introduction.

The images, which sparked widespread speculation, were later confirmed to be part of a marriage-themed photoshoot, not an actual wedding.

The initial posts drew both praise and criticism, with some fans accusing Falz of misleading the public.

In response, he clarified that assumptions about his personal life are often premature and that he might prefer to keep such milestones private.

He added that even if he does decide to marry, sharing it with the world is not guaranteed.

He said in a video posted on his Instagram page: “One of the funniest things is that since the big reveal and everyone found out I’m not actually married, a lot of people have been saying this is a case of the boy who cried wolf. When I actually get married, nobody is going to care.

“It’s bold of you to assume that I wish for you to be in the marriage with me. It’s bold of you to assume that if I’m actually getting married, I will share it. It’s so funny.
