Dangote Cement has announced that its majority shareholder and founder, Aliko Dangote, has retired as chairman of the cement manufacturing company.
Naijaonpoint reports that the company’s Group Chief, Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, made this known in a statement on Friday, July 25, 2025.
Chiejina said Dangote retired from his position to focus on Dangote Petroleum Refinery.
