The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) has announced final results from the local government elections conducted in the state on Saturday, 30th August, 2025.

According to the results declared on Sunday by the Chairman of RSIEC, Michael Ekpai Odey, Naijaonpoint reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the chairmanship seats in 20 local government areas, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won in three local government areas.
