The remains of former President Muhammadu Buhari have arrived in Daura, his hometown, for his final burial.

Naijaonpoint reported that Buhari’s corpse arrived at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua International Airport, Katsina, alongside the Vice President, Kashim Shetima, President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila and some family, including Aisha, his wife.

President Tinubu received Buhari’s body, accompanied by service chiefs and other top politicians.

A brief ceremony was conducted at the airport by the Nigerian military.
