President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has lifted the emergency rule imposed on Rivers State and reinstated the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
Tinubu announced this in a statement he signed on Wednesday.
This development comes months after intense political tensions plunged the state into crisis.
