Two Turkish Super Lig club are seriously interested in securing the services of Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osayi-Samuel’s contract at Fenerbahce expires at the end of June, which means he will officially become a free agent. This could potentially bring an end to his four-year stay at the club.

However, the club have been making efforts to get the Super Eagles star to pen a contract-extension amid links to the English Premier League. But nothing has come out of it yet, with 27-year-old defender still adamant.

Meanwhile, according to a recent statement by Turkish transfer expert Sercan Dikme, Osayi-Samuel has informed Fenerbahce that would stay if they pay him €3 million per year.

This would be a significant rise from his just over €2 million yearly pay. But the former Super Lig champions are unwilling to meet his demands.

Besiktas are now looking to pounce. According to the report. They have opened talks with the Super Eagles star’s camp, but nothing concrete has emerged yet.

Which club will Bright Osayi-Samuel join?

Bright Osayi-Samuel has been quite brilliant for Fenerbahce, featuring in 178 games. The Super Eagles star’s speed, attacking ingenuity and intense style has made him a key asset for the Yellow Canaries.

But it seems Osayi-Samuel’s head is no longer in the Super Lig. Fenerbahce are the second best club in Turkey right now. And unless his head has been turned by a better club where he will get a significant pay rise and play with quality players, he would not be playing the waiting game with Fenerbahce.

Nonetheless, in the coming weeks, the Nigeria star is expected to make a decision on his next move.
