Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has urged single women to focus on building their lives and developing themselves before desiring to marry wealthy and caring men.

Naijaonpoint reports that he made the statement while reacting to online praises for his role as Odogwu, a generous billionaire lover in the movie Love In Every World 2.

Many social media users have described the character as the type of man they wish to marry.

Arukwe in a tweet explained that in the film, the female character Chioma, played by Bambam, was already a hardworking and valuable woman before the billionaire began supporting her.

According to him, Odogwu did not need to question her contributions to their relationship because her industrious nature was already evident.

The actor advised women to focus on personal growth and self-worth, saying that when they build value for themselves, good men who appreciate their strength and character will naturally find them.

He wrote: “While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her.

“He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman. So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle.”
