Busola Dakolo, the wife of Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo, has shared an adorable video of her son, Alexander, giving her advice.
In the video she posted on her Instagram page, Busola and her son were captured sitting on the swing as he gave her a word of advice for the New Year.
Busola said her son praises her for doing well and admonishes her not to view her objectives as tasks, but as a way to grow in herself and in God. He told her to take her challenges one step at a time and stay calm; she would be surprised at how far she could go without realising it.
The mother of three, who was obviously taken aback by her son’s wise words, affirmed that children can also advise their parents.

Last year, Busola had called for prayers as she embarked on a new journey. The mother of three revealed that she had decided to pursue a doctorate degree, and told her fans to wish her well.
In 2023, Timi was a proud husband as Busola bagged a Master’s Degree in International Business. Dakolo shared photos from the graduation ceremony while singing her praises. He noted how he can now rest from her constant complaints about the struggles of combining her education with motherhood.
On Busola’s birthday, last year, Timi had shared lovely photos of their family, expressing pride in her and affirming his love for her. The singer had requested for another child – a boy from his wife.

Back in 2024, Timi shared his love story with his wife. He revealed that their relationship started as a friendship, and now, his wife has 3 children for him. Poking fun at his wife, he claimed that he had won in the end.
