THE remains of renowned Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, were laid to rest today in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
Dantata, who passed away on Saturday in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, was buried at the historic Baqiyya Cemetery, a site reserved for Muslim faithful and located near the Prophet’s Mosque.
Before the burial, funeral prayers (Janazah) were held for him at the Prophet’s Mosque shortly after the Asr prayer, attended by hundreds who gathered to pay their final respects.
The somber occasion drew prayers and tributes from many within and outside Nigeria, commemorating Dantata’s lifetime of service, generosity, and business leadership.
