According to our reporter, Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communications to President Tinubu, insists that Governor Siminalayi Fubara is the undisputed leader of the APC in Rivers State and should be allowed to govern free from outside interference.
In a statement reported by Daily Post on January 23, 2026, Bwala clarified that former governor and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, though influential within the PDP, has no authority over APC affairs.
“Wike may lead the PDP in Rivers, but the APC leader is Governor Fubara,” he stressed.
Bwala emphasized President Tinubu’s commitment to democratic governance and rule of law, highlighting that legal processes, including impeachment attempts, are being handled constitutionally.
