In a public notice released on January 23, 2025, the CAC expressed concern over allegations circulating on social media about preferential treatment of certain applications. The Commission assured the public that it is investigating the complaints thoroughly to ensure adherence to its set guidelines and standard operating procedures. The notice urged the public and customers to provide evidence of misconduct by any CAC officer, regardless of their rank, to facilitate appropriate disciplinary action. “All applications are treated equally on merit and on a first-come, first-served basis. Some paid services are, however, offered same-day upon request through the Companies Registration Portal (CRP),” the statement clarified.
