Cam’ron is holding back from speaking on his recent half-million dollar lawsuit against J. Cole.
During a recent episode of Talk With Flee, Cam’ron’s co-host Sen City brought up the much-discussed lawsuit filed against Cole but the “Hey Ma” rapper kept it cool.
“I think J. Cole is definitely gonna be a rap legend. 100 %, definitely,” Cam said, before steering clear of any legal talk.
The compliment caught fans off guard. While he avoided discussing the lawsuit or their recent collaboration “Ready ’24,” Sen City didn’t let the topic drop easily, asking point-blank about the legal feud and referring to Cole as “the prodigal son from North Carolina.” Cam’ron, however, remained poised and refused to elaborate.

The track, featured on J. Cole’s Might Delete Later, features a guest verse from Cam’ron. Cam’ron says his contribution came with an understanding that Cole would return the favor by appearing on one of Cam’s songs or stopping by his Talk With Flee podcast.
The Harlem rapper claims the verse was recorded back in 2022, but despite several attempts to set up a collaboration or podcast visit, Cole never made it happen. Cam’ron also alleges he hasn’t been properly paid for his work, estimating the track has earned over $500,000 to date.
