Cam’ron is once again trending online after a tense on-air exchange with his ex-girlfriend Cali O’Dae got a little too personal.
During a recent podcast conversation, Cam’ron explained why he never financially supported O’Dae, calling their past relationship a “bad investment.”
The comment immediately ruffled her feathers. Cali pushed back, questioning his views on responsibility and partnership. “As a woman, if I share my body with a man, I shouldn’t expect him to protect or provide for me?” she asked. “That’s what I should teach your daughter?”
Cam’ron tried to explain his philosophy, saying he prefers to invest in a partner’s long-term growth rather than simply hand over money. “I’d rather invest in my female than give my female,” he said. Cali shot back that he never invested in her at all.
The conversation escalated further when Cam’ron brought up her past choices, suggesting they led her to nursing school. Cali quickly corrected him, saying she has been pursuing her degree since 2019 and working consistently toward that goal, saying her experience running a business mattered, adding, “If you think opening my own business that I had for three years didn’t teach me s–t, then you wouldn’t know me at all.”
She later revealed she shut the business down and shifted her focus fully to school. “I closed it. I’m a full-time nursing student,” she said, noting that her decision was about stability and long-term goals.
Despite the heated back and forth, Cam did acknowledge the difficulty of her path, conceding that a nursing degree is “one of the hardest degrees you can possibly get,” before doubling down on his opinion that the disagreement was about business judgment.
In the comments section, many accused Cam of being too cold with his ex, while others agreed with his harsh assessment of their relationship.
