Cardi B’s beef with Nicki Minaj ramped up a notch yesterday after Minaj mentioned Cardi’s daughter in a tweet online.
Minaj mocked Cardi’s “Barney B” and ridiculed her personal life. She accused her rival of fabricating stories about fertility struggles, claimed to hold medical records that could allegedly expose Cardi, and mocked her relationships. Minaj then hinted that Cardi’s financial security was at risk and that her father and past as a dancer would come back to haunt her.
In follow-up posts, Minaj doubled down, clarifying that she herself had never experienced fertility struggles and insisting such issues should never be weaponized against women and taunted Cardi with unverified claims about seizures.
Cardi wasted no time in firing back. She criticized Minaj for spending her son’s birthday embroiled in online arguments instead of celebrating with him. She flatly denied any history of seizures, turning the accusation back on Monaj by referencing the rapper’s past struggles with alleged drug use.
Cardi accused Minaj of being overly “pressed” about an album release, mocked her for allegedly ignoring her family, and warned her to keep her children out of the feud.
Both women then targeted each other’s children. Minaj branded Cardi a “kulture vulture” and mocked her daughter, while taking aim at Cardi’s sales numbers and musical credibility. Cardi, in turn, defended her daughter’s appearance and accused Minaj of projecting bitterness, and claimed that Minaj’s son, Papa Bear, is “non verbal” due to Minaj because of her alleged drug use while pregnant.
Cardi accused Minaj of avoiding face-to-face confrontation, claiming she had never shown the same energy in person, but Minaj seems prepared to fight.
