Cardi B has opened up about coparenting with estranged husband, Offset, and she says that she is the only parent who provides for their three children.
Cardi and Offset share Kulture (7), Wave (4), and one-year-old Blossom, but she says she has no problem meeting their needs.
“I do everything for my kids. I’m the only provider, and you know what? There’s no complaining about it. I love them so much, and they keep me grounded,” she told Billboard.
“My mother worked incredibly hard to support us, and I want my children to understand that I made sure they had everything they wanted,” she added.
While Cardi has no problem doing it all, she admitted that sometimes, motherhood can be exhausting.
“If you think when you get rich you’re going to stop working, you’re never going to stop working. My mom used to be a freakin’ cashier and she used to work every single day,” revealed Cardi. “To this day, I still talk about how hard my mom worked. I had a very rough childhood, but my mom always made sure we ain’t go to no shelter.”
