Cardi B is going viral for being questioned about her hairstyle choice as she took the stand to defend herself in her ongoing assault trial.
Yesterday, Cardi was pressed by the prosecution, who have accused the rapper of a 2018 assault.
“Yesterday, you had black hair, short hair. Today it’s blond and long,” her alleged victim’s lawyer, Ron Rosen, said to Cardi. “Which one is your real hair, or are they both real?”
Cardi looked at him directly, before letting out a small laugh and eventually responding, “They’re wigs.”
Oh my God, this lawyer suing Cardi B.
“Which one is your real hair? Or are they both real?” plaintiff’s lawyer Ron Rosen asked.
“They’re wigs,” Cardi B answered.
Then he asked if she’s affiliated with a gang. pic.twitter.com/KrzgMhDm0F

“It’s a good wig then,” he replied, baffling Cardi fans about why her wig is even a topic of conversation during an assault trial.
The plaintiff, Emani Ellis, alleges that while she was four months pregnant, Cardi spat on her, hurled racist insults, and even cut her cheek with a fingernail during a visit to the doctor’s office.
According to Ellis, the confrontation began when she, working as a security guard, approached the Grammy winner with her phone at an obstetrician’s office. The star, Ellis said, believed the guard was trying to expose her private appointment.
Cardi B denies the allegations.
