Kenyan social media commentator Cassypool Capon has sparked a heated online debate after coming out strongly in defense of Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan while sharply criticizing Kenyans for what he termed as “bad influence” on their Tanzanian neighbors.
In a viral video, Cassypool accused some Kenyans of attempting to spread negative behavior and political chaos into Tanzania, warning that such actions could destabilize the peaceful nation.
“Wakenya wameambukiza Watanzania tabia yao mbaya, wanataka kuharibu watoto wa Tanzania. Shame on you Kenyans, mnaweka mapua kubwa kwa mambo hayawahusu, mnataka damu imwagike Tanzania sababu mumezoea kumwaga damu hapa Kenya,” Cassypool said.
His comments immediately ignited reactions across social media platforms, with some Kenyans condemning him for generalizing and insulting his own countrymen, while others defended his sentiments, saying he was simply calling for peace and respect among neighboring nations.
Cassypool further argued that Kenyans should focus on addressing their internal political and social issues instead of interfering with Tanzania’s affairs. He praised President Samia Suluhu for her calm leadership and urged Tanzanians to remain united and resist external influence.
